Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Description

At Moksha Massage and Wellness, we are very passionate about the health and healing of our clients. We believe that pain reduction and even pain elimination is possible through the work that we do and we seek to create a personalized experience for the people we work on. Our therapist educates their clients, teaches them about health and wellness, and works with the client to have a plan for healing and recovery.

We are looking for therapists who are close to graduating, or currently licensed. You will need to be licensed before you could start to work. Hours and days can be flexible for the therapist. You will be hired as an independent contractor and you will be paid at or above the industry standard based on level of experience.

 Requirements/Responsibilities

• Specialize Swedish, Deep Tissue Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy

• Knowledge of other massage modalities is a plus!

• High School Diploma or GED

• Massage Therapy License

• Ability to perform all types of massage therapy services and treatments

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions

• Knowledge of basic PC operating

• Adheres to all policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality policies

• Assures that guests leave happy, relaxed, and excited to return

• Attends all meetings and required training

• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body and record SOAP notes after each appointment

• Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with clients

• Maintains high standards of cleanliness. This includes: professional appearance and attire, upkeep of the treatment, storage and laundry room
